Terms
Last updated 11 October 2026
Twinbox is a pre-launch service run by José Airosa. By making an account you agree to these terms. Questions: support@twinbox.dev.
The service
- Twinbox gives you a cloud computer (a box) and a CLI that sets it up and syncs your work to it.
- Twinbox is new. It can have bugs, and it can change. If we stop the service, we tell you by email first, as early as we can.
- Synced projects are not a backup. Keep your own copies of what matters.
Credits
- Boxes use credits: per minute while running, for the disk while parked, and per GB of data sent. The rates are on the credits section of the site.
- A new account gets 1,000 trial credits once, for the CPU sizes. One trial per person.
- Plan credits you don’t use carry over one month, then expire. Top-up credits don’t expire.
- Credits have no cash value and you cannot transfer them.
- At zero credits, your running boxes stop. We never delete a box because you ran out of credits.
- A plan renews each month until you cancel it in the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; credits you already have stay.
- If a charge is wrong, email us and we fix it.
Your box, your responsibility
- What you run on your box is yours, and so is the responsibility for it.
- Do not use Twinbox for anything illegal, to attack or scan other systems, to send spam, or to mine cryptocurrency.
- Do not make extra accounts to get more trial credits.
- If a box breaks these rules or puts the service at risk, we can stop it. We tell you why.
Deleting
- Deleting a box deletes its disk. This cannot be undone.
- To close your account, email support@twinbox.dev from your account’s address.
Liability
Twinbox is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid Twinbox in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes. For a change that matters, we email you before it applies.
