Twinbox is a pre-launch service run by José Airosa. This page says what Twinbox keeps about you, where, and how to have it deleted. Questions: support@twinbox.dev.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address and name, from Google or GitHub when you sign in, and the account id Firebase Authentication gives you.
- Your boxes: each box’s name, size, region, state, public IP address, SSH host key, and the IP addresses you allowed to reach it (at most 5).
- Usage and credits: how long each box ran or stayed parked, how much data it sent, and every change to your credit balance.
- CLI tokens: a SHA-256 hash of each token, the computer’s name and system, and when it was last used. We never keep the token itself.
- Payments: Stripe handles them. We keep your Stripe customer id, your plan, and whether a card is on file. We never see or store card numbers.
Where it lives
- The website and the account data run on Cloudflare (Workers and D1).
- Sign-in runs on Google Firebase Authentication.
- Boxes run on Amazon Web Services, our hosting provider, in Singapore. A box’s disk holds what you put on it: synced projects, files, your agent setup, and the keys and logins you send to it.
- Payments run on Stripe.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
- The site has no analytics or advertising cookies. Firebase keeps your sign-in in your browser’s storage, and the site keeps one “signed in” note there so its buttons go to your dashboard.
- Your keys travel from your computer to your box over SSH. Twinbox does not keep a copy.
- We do not log in to your box or read its disk, unless you ask us to help or the law requires it.
Deleting your data
- Deleting a box (in the dashboard or with
twinbox down) deletes its disk at once. - To delete your account, email support@twinbox.dev from your account’s address. We delete the account and its data within 30 days. We keep payment records only as long as tax law requires.
